Com Pewter's Band Review

Guns N' Roses- One of my personal favorites, this band is one of the many 
cool bands currently in existence. Some of their greatest songs include:
Sweet Chid o' Mine, Paradice City, Mr. Brownstone, Patience, Don't Cry (both 
the orrigional and the altered lyrics version), November Rain, and Knocking 
on Heavens Door. Their best album is probably Appetite for Destruction. 
 
Queen- This is one of Dopey's favorites. Queen is a band that isn't 
given full credit for being one of the greatest rock bands of all time, due
to their odd style. Probably one of their best albums is A Night at the 
Opra.

Led Zeppelin- Trully a classic rock group. They are still popular today. 
Although most of their music was first recorded in the late 60's and early
70's. Their most famous song is Stairway to Heaven. Led Zeppelin IV is most
likely their best one.

Iron Maiden- One of the orrigianal heavy metal bands. It takes a while to get
used to their stile, so many people don't recognise that they are actually a
great band. Some of their more famous songs would include Back in the Village
and Aces High. Their best album is Power Slave, with No Prayr for the Dying
coming in at a close second.

Greatful Dead- This group is one of the best. Some of their cool songs that 
you might have heard of include Casey Jones, Truckin, and Shugar Magnolia.
The album to get is Skelletons from the Closet. It has a lot of their best 
songs on it.

Pink Floyd- Another one of the old, yet good, rock bands. The stuff produced
by the orrigional band is the best. Dark Side of the Moon is a great album.
It has that song Money on it. The Wall is also reputed to be one of their 
best.

Aerosmith- Aerosmith has so many famouse songs that its not even funny. They
are great in concert, but their opening bands most alwaise suck. They have 
cool video's (one of which Ambush Bug's arm apears in). Its hard to say what
their best album is. They are all good.

Pearl Jam- One of the newer bands, they don't have many albums. But they have
a famouse song. Jeremy. It rules.

Snoop Doggy Dog- A rap artist. His best album is Doggy Style (that was easy 
to decide). He is good at what he does. And if I liked rap, I would think he
was cool.

Metallica- The ultimate heavy metal band. Their coolest songs are Enter 
Sandman and Unforgiven. Their video's hurt the eyes. That old guy is cool.
That one guy really shouldn't have cut his hair.

U2- Their old stuff is sorta cool. Now that the lead singer cut his hair and
started singing like a fag, they suck. Their best song is probably In the 
Name of Love.

Megadeath- Megadeath. Hmm. Well, they're a heavy metal band. But not a very 
good one. I personaly think that they suck. They suck so much that I can't 
even think of any cool songs or albums that they did.

Motle Crue- They have a new album out. Its ok. Its not quite the same as the 
classic Motle Crue though. Their new singer looks like he has a bald spot.
Their best album was probably Dr. Feelgood.

The Partrige Family- Ha! This is the humor part of the review.

Stone Temple Pilots- STP has gotten a lot less heavy metal like with each new
video that comes out. The lead singer starts out as a shirtless bald guy who
swings a chain around and ends up a guy who sits around in 60's clothing and
sings cool songs. I like their song Creep the best. Their best album is their
newest one. I'm not sure what its called, but its their best one.

Bob Dylan- Bob Dylan writes some of the awsomest songs. If he could just sing
as good as he can wright, then he would be ok. His best album is Blood on the
Tracks.

The Beatles- The Beatles are like, the ultimate band. Their a wee bit famous 
too. John Lenon had really cool glasses. Abby Road is considered their most
spiffy album.

Steppenwolf- They are like, old and stuff, but they are still pretty cool. 
Born to be Wild is by far their most famous song. 

Nirvana- Nirvana is pretty cool. Kirt Cobain has a cool hair cut. Their 
newest album is pretty cool, but I think that their album Nevermind is their
greatest. Smells Like Teen Spirit and Come as You are are both cool songs 
that are on that album.

Judas Preist- Judas Preist is cool. Their music rules, but their videos kind
of suck. They are one of the greatest hard rock bands. They are right up 
there with Black Sabbath.

Nine Inch Nails- Their newly released stuff is pretty cool. Their new video
rules too. The camera never moves. It is the same angle of the same room 
throught the whole video. Another cool thing about Nine Inch Nails is that
the lead singer goes through half a dozen microphones a song.

Buddy Holly- He's old (and dead) and his music isn't quite what most people
think of as cool, but never the less, his music is cool. Buddy Holly and the
Crickets ruled. One thing I will add though, is that drums and base were like
definately after his time.

Elvis Costello- His music is ok. It can actually be pretty cool sometimes.
Elvis Costello, though, will never be greatly popular due to the fact that he
looks like the ultimate nerd. A song on his new album is really cool. It is 
called Sulky Girl. Spike is the title of his best album.

Anthrax- Anthrax is one of the original and one of the cooler heavy metal
bands. My personal favorite song of theirs is called Caught in the Mosh. It
doesn't appeal to other people as much as to me. I like the words in that 
song. It talks about the fears one gets when engaging in a great sport/dance.

Joan Jet- What ever happened to Joan Jet? Oh well, she had semi cool music.
She didn't shave her arm pits though, so she was kind of nasty.

Michael Jackson- This guy has been one of the main musical fugures for quite
a long time. Some of his mid 80's stuff was kind of cool. Like Bad. That
song ruled. Then he turned into a wuss. He got a new nose and bleached his 
skin. Then his career went totaly down the tube with the accusation of rape.
I think its kind of funny to look at really old vidoes and see the o' Gloved 
one with a fro. 

Madona- She is pretty famous too. Her music sucks though. At least all of 
her really old stuff and her new stuff. The stuff she did in between was 
pretty cool.

The Rolling Stones- They had some pretty cool stuff. Mick Jagger rules. He
can like, do flips and stuff, even though he is an old guy. He was in a cool
movie too. Kojak. In it, he tries to kill Emilio Estaves.

ZZ Top- They are just about the only musicians that are cool, even though 
they have real long beards and wear trench coats and those hats. Their music
is really cool though. I don't really like their new song Pincushion. Their 
best album is Recycler. That one song about a naked cowgirl floating across
the ceiling is like, their best song.

AC/DC- They rule. Some of their best songs are Hell's Bells, Highway to Hell,
and Razors Edge (I think thats it). The Razors Edge is their coolest album.
AC/DC is about the only band that can still be one of the coolest and have
their lead singer wearing one of those enlish hats. Those hats are cool, but
you don't usually think of a heavy metal singer wearing on.

Sound Garden- Its been a while since they put anything new out. Their new 
album is pretty cool. That song Spoonman rules. The video is cool too. Only 
pictures are shown of the band. But the guy with a mohawk that plays spoons 
i.e. the spoonman, is pretty cool too. 

The La's- All I know is that they suck. And they have a cool eye on the cover
of one of their albums.
