Faith No More

It's been a couple of years since their last release, and almost eight years since mainstream popularity. On June 3rd, 1997, Faith No More is back with its sixth album, titled 'Album Of The Year.'

After some rumors about a break-up, Faith No More prove that they are just as strong as they ever were, despite the fact that almost every band member also works on other projects. With the introduction of a new guitarist, Jon Hudson, we find perhaps the best Faith No More album ever. A delightful mix of hard-cutting metal, soft ballads, frenzied pop, and a sense of humor that made 'The Real Thing' a double-platinum success.

The first U.S. single, 'The Last Cup Of Sorrow,' is now getting airplay on MTV and radio stations across the U.S. The video stars Jennifer Jason Leigh (Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Single White Female), and is a parody of Alfred Hitchcock's classic movie, 'Vertigo.'

Thanks to the power that is the Internet, some sound samples can be found at the #1 fan site, Caca Volante. And a quicktime movie clip of 'The Last Cup of Sorrow' can be found at the Reprise Records Official Faith No More site.
